  • 🌼 Can I bring children or dogs?
Yes, absolutely. This is a family-friendly space, and all beings are welcome — little ones, furry ones, and everyone in between. Our only request is that no being causes harm to another, and that dogs are well-behaved or kept on a lead, as our beloved chickens roam freely.
  • 🌿 Will I be expected to volunteer?
If that’s rest, solitude, or stillness — you are already doing your part. If you feel called to contribute with a bit of your energy (cooking, washing up, laying the table, helping in the garden, building something), there are always opportunities and help is gratefully received.
  • 🕊️ How will I spend my time?
That’s entirely up to you (though we are here to support with ideas when helpful) There is no fixed schedule here. You might find yourself harvesting herbs, meditating by the fire, writing in your journal, resting under the trees, fixing a chicken coop, or joining a spontaneous yoga session. Everything is an invitation — never an obligation. Follow what feels true.
  • 🔍 Who is responsible for my healing journey?
You are. Here, we believe in empowered healing. You’ll be gently guided to ask yourself often: “What do I need right now?” And if that need can’t be met alone, you are welcome to ask another — with kindness and openness to a “yes” or “no.” We all practise the art of honest self-responsibility here, in service to ourselves and our collective wellbeing.
  • 🧸 What’s the atmosphere like?
Think: barefoot children, shared meals, warm laughter, open skies, spontaneous hugs, and soft places to cry if needed. Casa Pachamama is a relaxed, family-style community space — lovingly held by Mama Mandala, Pete, their little ones, and whoever else the land has drawn in that week.
  • ❤️‍🩹 What if I have mental health challenges, trauma, or addiction?
We honour that healing looks different for everyone. If you feel able to take self-responsibility for your needs and wellbeing, you are welcome here. If you require structured or professional support that we cannot provide, this may not be the right space for you right now but we’re always happy to have a compassionate conversation. Please reach out before booking if you have concerns or specific needs, and we’ll explore together what’s possible.
